Buckwheat Groats
Buckwheat Groats
- 1 egg
- 1 cup Buckwheat Groats
- 2 cups water
Lightly beat egg in a 2-quart saucepan. Add groats and cook over moderate heat about 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until grains are well coated and separated. Add water, cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 20 minutes, until all water is absorbed. Makes 4 cups, 4 servings.
